Mr. Janis has extensive experience in a broad variety of complex business litigation matters. After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989, Mr. Janis practiced for nearly nineteen years with the international firm Latham & Watkins, which received the title “Law Firm of the Decade” in the prestigious Legal Business 2007 awards. During his career, Mr. Janis has handled a wide array of complex contract, business tort, intellectual property, commercial real estate, and commercial bankruptcy matters. Mr. Janis’ practice includes litigation of technical financial issues, drawing upon his prior experience as a certified public accountant. He has handled matters in Federal and State Courts throughout California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Guam. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and all federal and state courts in California.
